It is easier to use than many people think. And it ensures that you will enjoy your CULINARY FORGED knives for years to come. That is why the sharpening steel is an essential part of your knife collection. We will explain how to use it correctly.

1. Hold the Honing Steel in your hand and place the tip on a non-slip surface.

2. Hold the knife at an angle of no more than 15 degrees to the Honing Steel.

3. Draw the blade along the entire length of the Honing Steel, starting at the base of the blade and moving towards the tip, while moving down the steel in one go.

4. Repeat the process on the other side of the Honing Steel, changing sides 6 to 8 times.
