Use and Care

  • Warm the caquelon with the cheese mixture and all ingredients at medium heat for about 5 minutes. Increase the temperature and boil it while stirring constantly. If the first bubbles form, the cheese has melted and can be placed on the tablerechaud. To prevent the fondue from burning, we recommend the use of an aluminium transmission plate. This is placed between the caquelon and Rechaud to achieve even heat distribution and to protect the caquelon. Reduce the heat of the rechaud burner to a medium level to prevent the cheese from burning.
  • After use, leave the caquelon filled with cold water to stand for a short time to facilitate removal of cheese residues. The caquelon can then be easily cleaned with detergent and a brush. If cheese gets on the exterior glaze, wipe it off as soon as possible to avoid stains. The caquelon is not dishwasher suitable
