The administration board bears the supreme responsibility for the success of Kuhn Rikon and for achieving sustainable value using prudent and effective controls. The administration board decides on Kuhn Rikon's strategy at the suggestion of the management and is responsible for the overall management, monitoring and control of the group and its management.

The board has excellent know-how in all relevant areas such as finance, company management, brand development, law and production.

In April 2014 Dorothee Auwärter took as chair of the board as representative of the owner family and its fourth generation.
